Gaynor Round was born in England and educated in Canada. From her early teens her ambition was to be an aesthetician. She received her European style training at the Lillian Maund International School of Beauty in Victoria B.C. She achieved diplomas from ITEC -International Therapy Examination Council, London England, Confederation of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology, London, England and a diploma from the Faculty of Physiatrics, allowing her to use the title M.F.Phys, and many others.
Gaynor is always hungry for more knowledge and regularly attends conventions and trade shows to enhance her profession.
After 28 years in the beauty business, she is very excited about her new spa - Urban Oasis - which encompassed her other passion of designing new spas. This will be her seventh. Urban Oasis provides full spa services from face to toes in a bright, peaceful zen like setting, as the perfect setting for nurturing and de-stressing. Facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures, massage, body wraps and more.
Gaynor is a self-confessed people person and takes pleasure in customizing spa services for individuals and couples. To accommodate today's busy lifestyles, Gaynor has developed her "timely menu" featuring services under 60 minutes, a perfect way to spend your lunchbreak.
